They might not effect your body at first but use after use of bad products can be detrimental to your body and skin. Some of the problems that can occur are massive skin irritation, skin redness, dermatitis and acne. Some of the bad side effects can be mild. Some severe. It is important to recognize these things when they start happening and see a doctor if they worsen.

Those bad products and chemicals can also cause signs of aging. No one wants their skin too start to age. It's inevitable to prevent it but to help soothe the process and definitely not have that process start at 18 is important. There are many products out there that are affordable and not bad for your skin. It it important to read the labels and learn what some of the chemicals are in the products you are currently using!

When you buy soaps, toothpastes, makeup and detergents, avoid Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS). It is a powerful detergent, used for its ability to break up grease and grime. It also causes a serious skin issue called dermatitis, as well as eczema, slowed healing of tissues, and psoriasis. Collagen will block pores and cause the skin to be unable to breathe. Propylene glycol causes a rupture of skin cells' membranes, eczema, and acne.

Another horrible chemical for your body and skin is Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. Purchasing soaps, toothpastes, makeup and detergents, avoid Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS). It is important to avoid products with formalin or formaldehyde, parabens, lacquer, and many artificial fragrances. They aren't as bad as the two I referenced above but they can cause many problems. These all carry risks like the ones outlined above, and sometimes even more severe. Some fragrances, for example, have been banned completely because they have been shown to be carcinogenic. So next time you buy a beauty product, check the labels. If you're unsure of the chemicals on the label, don't buy the product. As the old adage goes, better safe than sorry, at least as far as your health is concerned.
