Once upon a time, our ancestors and the people before us lived a very healthy and sustainable lifestyle. They were lean, exercised a lot more by walking great distances. They did chores which required a lot of physical activity.
Now fast forward to the 21st century. Our lifestyles have completely changed thanks to the progress we have made technologically. We are more lazier and have too many things to do that we do not have time to do anything else.
Do you find yourself in this situation? Well, I did. I was working more than 40 hours a week trying to raise a family of 5. I had no time at all. No time for myself, no time for my kids, no time for my husband. I returned from work so tired that I could barely sit down with my family to discuss their day.
And what did I do at my job? Mostly sitting behind a computer and typing lots and lots of data into the machine! I could not remember the last time I exercised. I basically got up, showered, and shoved myself into my tiny Geo Metro and headed for work. I gained so much weight that it became so challenging to go out to my local grocery store, or take the kids out on my off days.
It was time to do something about my situation. But what? I thought hard about it. I knew there were so many diet programs out there that promised to help you lose weight quickly. But I did not have any one who had successfully used any of such program. Out of sheer luck, a friend of mine happened to be secretly using a program that was helping her lose weight.
